Hello and thanks for visiting! I am an editorial and children’s book illustrator with a side of surf art. I grew up on a barrier island and now live in the middle of a forest. I love being in the wild - in the ocean, a tree, a river, in a patch of mushrooms... and suddenly encountering a furry, flippered, scaled, or feathered being.  Nature and those encounters inspire my art. I work in watercolor, gouache, and colored pencil. For publishing, my original illustration gets finished with digital brushes.
